At its core, the Sohot Method is about building a vivid neurological body map that taps into your inner stabilisation strength creating open structures with zero tension.

BREATHE FOR YOUR BODY

When you exhale, the brain automatically releases antagonistic muscles that would otherwise resistant the engagement of inner strength to open out the body.

For this reason, only move on an EXHALE.  The INHALE is where you consolidate a movement to a new position.   In postures where you are rounding down, you use the exhale to expand out, not collapse inwards.

THE POWER OF A NEUTRAL SPINE

In Cricket, Football, Golf, Tennis, Baseball or Basketball there is nothing more powerful than a neutral spine.  This is also true in yoga.
